SEPA has issued a flood warning for Eyemouth due to a combination of high tides and weather conditions.

There is a risk of waves overtopping the sea defences at Eyemouth. Properties and vehicles near to the harbour and vessels moored within the harbour may be at risk. 

Flooding impacts are expected either side of tomorrow afternoon's high tide, between 1pm and 4pm.

Flood barriers have been deployed and will remain in place until 3 January.

The nearest local sandbag store is located at Eyemouth Fire Station.
