Flooding expected in Eyemouth Coastal Areas

SEPA has issued a warning to expect flooding in the Eyemouth Coastal area.
 

Flooding impacts are possible around the time of high tide today, Saturday 7th December 2024, between 18:00 and 20:00 GMT

 

Key information:

  • A combination of high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding is possible from the sea. 
  • Flooding is possible along the coastal frontage at Eyemouth.
    There is a risk of waves overtopping the sea defences at Eyemouth. Businesses near to the harbour and vessels moored within the harbour may be at risk.
     

    • Scottish Borders Councils nearest local sandbag store is located at the Fire Station on Coldingham Road in Eyemouth.

    This FLOOD WARNING is now in force until further notice.
