Facility open to help postal voters


Postal voters in Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk County Constituency who require a replacement postal vote can pick up a pack in person at Council HQ in Newtown St Boswells, from 8.30am daily up until 5pm on Thursday 4th JulyThis is the only place where replacement postal votes can be re-issued.  

 Voters should take photographic identification and proof of address with them when they attend.

 

Your vote pack may still be in the post and be delivered this week. 

Please only attend if you have not yet received your postal vote and you will not be at home this week to receive it before polling closes.

  

Returning Postal Votes - you can return postal votes 

via Royal Mail 

in person to Council HQ in Newtown St Boswells daily from 8.30am to 5.00pm 4th July 

to a polling station in the constituency up to the close of poll at 10pm on 4th July 

at one of the following Council Contact Centres - Galashiels, Hawick, Duns, Kelso.  

Contact Centre Opening times 

Galashiels 10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm

Hawick 10am -12pm and 2pm – 4pm

Duns Monday 1230 – 5pm, Tue 1230pm – 6pm and Thurs 9.30am – 1230pm

Kelso Monday 10am – 4pm, Tue 1230pm – 6pm and Thurs 9.30am – 1230pm

 

Please note:

You must complete a form if returning postal votes by hand. 

By law, you can only hand-in your own postal vote and up to five others.

Only postal voters from Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk will be issued replacements.  Any electors for Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale should contact Dumfries and Galloway Council for a replacement.
